He was also seen knitting at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, so itโs clear that knitting is one of his hobbies.

Here, knitting was a menโs job, and women were not allowed to joining.
However, with the industrial revolution from the 18th to 19th century, the demand for knitted clothing increased, and it became a livelihood for women as well.
Knitting is an ancient form of weaving.
In fact, there is evidence of knitting found in Egypt, dating back to the 11th century.
There are also knitted socks discovered that were worn by the Romans.
In Europe, knitting is believed to have started in the 14th century.
It was initiated by priests and monks in monasteries, who knitted clothing and decorations used in ceremonies.
Here in the Philippines, knitting is still alive, particularly in the making of products like clothes, jackets, bonnets, and more.
Besides being a hobby, it also provides a source of income.
