Pangasinan — Nineteen candidates for Limgas na Pangasinan 2026 pageant were officially introduced to the public last Saturday, March 21, in Pangasinan as part of the province’s cultural celebration highlighting women’s strength and empowerment.

The pageant, now on its 50th edition, centers on the resilience of women, with this year’s candidates embodying the qualities of being industrial, intellectual, and infinite—three defining traits of a modern Urduja.

More than just beauty, the candidates are also driven by purpose and inclusivity, reflecting the evolving standards of the competition.

According to Malou Amor-Elduayan, Head of the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, the event carries deeper meaning as it highlights the voices, stories, and strength of women who aspire to inspire others.

Meanwhile, First Spouses League Chairperson Maan Tuazon-Guico emphasized that true beauty goes beyond physical appearance, noting that it also encompasses the daily struggles women face and their courage to overcome them.

The new Limgas na Pangasinan is set to be crowned this April in line with the celebration of Pistay Dayat 2026.
