This has made her worry about her daughter’s safety.

At the start of 2025, 19 cases related to abuse against women and children have been recorded in Baguio City.
Although this is half of the cases recorded in the same period in 2024, authorities say this should not be taken lightly.
To strengthen the fight against abuse, the City Social Welfare and Development Office of Baguio City has launched a 24/7 hotline to support victims.
For those experiencing abuse, emotional distress, or other concerns, you may call 0967 298 4777 or 0951 750 5039.
