Lola Cipriana, from Barangay Barraca in the town of Villasis, was filled with joy when First Spouses League of Pangasinan Chairperson Maan Tuazon-Guico visited her home.
Lola Cipriana had just celebrated her 100th birthday this past September.
Lola Ignacia of Barangay San Vicente in Urdaneta City and Lola Monica from Sison were also happy seeing the First Lady at their homes.
The First Lady brought gifts for the centenarians, including grocery items, hygiene kits, and a 20,000-peso cash incentive.
First Lady Maan Tuazon-Guico was personally awarded the certificate of recognition from the provincial government led by Governor Ramon V. Guico III.
“You have reached 100 years old, so I visited you,” said First Lady Maan Tuazon-Guico, Chairperson of the First Spouses League of Pangasinan.
The First Lady also visited Lola Doria from Barangay Consolacion in Urdaneta City to personally deliver her simple gift of a cane.
During the First Lady’s visits to the centenarians, she was accompanied and assisted by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.
The centenarians expressed their gratitude for the gifts they received from the provincial government.
It is expected that the First Lady will continue visiting other centenarians across the province to extend further assistance.
