Acting on a search warrant, authorities arrested a 41-year-old man in Barangay Calaba, Bangued, Abra on February 25.
He was caught with 11 grams of shabu and drug paraphernalia, valued at 79,628 pesos.
The suspect is currently in police custody and will face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, another 41-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga in a buy-bust operation conducted by PDEA.
He was caught with two bricks of marijuana, weighing a total of two kilos and valued at 240,000 pesos.
He has already been charged, and authorities also confiscated his motorcycle, which was suspected to be used for illegal drug transactions.
In Kalinga province, authorities from PDEA-Cordillera and the PNP uprooted and destroyed marijuana plants worth 6.4 million pesos.
The marijuana was cultivated on a 3,200-square-meter land in Rizal town during a two-day eradication operation.
No cultivators were arrested.
