44 FLOWER FLOATS, BRIGHTEN UP THE PANAGBENGA GRAND FLOAT PARADE

Baguio City was in full bloom yesterday, February 23, during the Panagbenga 2025 Grand Floral Float Parade.

Kicking off the parade, the Philippine Military Marching Band serenaded the audience with their rendition of “Salamin” by the nation’s girl group, BINI.

Following this, the Panagbenga Floral Float Hall of Famers paraded one by one.

SM’s float featured not only flowers but also strawberries, resembling a cornucopia of harvest.

There were also non-competing floats, including a Batmobile-inspired float featuring a seven-foot papier-mâché Batman.

Small floats, both motorized and non-motorized, delighted the crowd.

Some were inspired by the Chinese zodiac’s Year of the Snake.

One even resembled a lechon rice dish from a restaurant.

Meanwhile, medium-sized floats displayed craftsmanship and artistry.

“You Glow Babe” stood out with its chic, glowy, and pink design, symbolizing self-care and self-love.

The COMELEC float caught attention, featuring Chairman George Garcia, promoting responsible voting for the May 2025 midterm elections.

The event recorded 120,000 spectators across both major Panagbenga parades, with no reported theft incidents.
