Remi is a single mother supporting her child in elementary school. She earns around 500–600 pesos weekly from selling food at Burnham Park.

After being left by her partner, she worked even harder to provide for their needs.

However, with rising prices, she now needs to double her efforts just to get by.

One of her major concerns is the high price of rice.

She urges the president to fulfill the promise of lowering rice prices.

In a survey conducted by Social Weather Stations from December 12 to 18, 59% of Filipinos expressed satisfaction with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s leadership.

Meanwhile, 23% are dissatisfied, and 17% remain undecided.

Malacañang welcomed the survey results.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin thanked Filipinos for their support, especially regarding disaster response, basic education, poverty reduction, and job creation efforts.

However, he noted that the survey reflects public perception of current policies and emphasized that effective public service will be measured by improvements in Filipinos’ lives.

The president added that the results serve as a challenge to achieve more for the people.
