The University of Eastern Pangasinan (UEP) is set to expand its campus with the construction of a new seven-storey building to accommodate the increasing number of enrollees for Academic Year 2025-2026.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new structure was held on May 30 and was led by Pangasinan Governor Ramon V. Guico III.

Joining him were 5th District Representative Ramon “Monching” Guico Jr. and Binalonan Mayor Ramon Ronald Guico IV.

The new building will rise within the UEP campus in Binalonan and is part of the local government’s commitment to strengthen the educational sector in the province.

The provincial government emphasized that the facility aims not only to support student population growth but also to inspire the youth to pursue their dreams through proper education and opportunities.

Meanwhile, the Pangasinan provincial government recently honored local graduates of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Siklab-Laya Class of 2025 for successfully completing their training and education at the prestigious institution.

The recognition took place following their commencement exercises held at Fort Del Pilar in Baguio City on May 17.

Governor Ramon Guico III personally handed out cash incentives as a gesture of gratitude for their commitment to serve the country.

The provincial government said the recognition also aims to uplift the morale of aspiring cadets and inspire more Pangasinense youth to enter public service.
