In this CCTV footage, a minor male is seen arguing with a group of men in front of a drinking establishment in Lower Magsaysay, Baguio City, around 2:00 a.m. yesterday, October 31.
A 19-year-old woman was trying to hold him back.
Moments later, the group of men chased the minor male, but the woman confronted them.
Here, the woman pulls out a knife and allegedly confronts the group of men.
The CCTV footage does not capture what happened next, but one man falls to the ground.
When the police arrived, it was discovered that the woman had stabbed the eight men.
According to PCpt. Marcy Grace Marron, Spokesperson at Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), “The group of miners left the drinking spot while they were waiting for a taxi, but a minor male challenged them, leading to a fistfight. The group was unaware that the male had a female companion. She used a pin knife to stab these men; two of them are now seriously injured and confined at BGH.”
The woman was immediately arrested, and the knife allegedly used in the stabbing was confiscated from her.
The 16-year-old male minor who reportedly started the fight later surrendered to the police.
The news team tried to get a statement from the suspect, but she refused to face the camera.
The police are still determining the cause of the dispute between the two groups.
The woman will face attempted homicide charges, while the 16-year-old male minor will face physical injury charges.
