950 PANGASINENSE, RECEIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT

Christmas is just a few days away, but the provincial government of Pangasinan remains steadfast in visiting various districts to provide financial assistance to residents in need.

On November 20, more than 950 Pangasinense residents from four districts of the province received financial aid.

This initiative, led by Governor Ramon Guico III, is part of the provincial government’s Social Assistance Program and was held at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center 2.

“This is a big help because many people benefit from it. Additionally, they even provide medicine to those of us who are here,” by Erlinda de Guzman, a beneficiary.

Aside from financial assistance, the provincial government also brought free checkups, consultations, and medicine through the GuiConsulta Program.

“That’s why we have GuiConsulta, so you can have free annual checkups through PhilHealth. If you need maintenance medicine, it can be provided by the agency, the province, or your LGU. For you, your children, grandchildren, and spouses, everyone should have yearly checkups. We’ll even cover your transportation and food expenses so you have no reason not to get checked,” said Governor Ramon V. Guico.

And of course, the warm servings of soup from the Guicosina on Wheels are always present.

Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the aid they received.

“We are very thankful for the financial assistance given to us. Many of us were helped, so we thank the governor and the board members who joined him,” said Rolando Binluan Jemia, also a beneficiary.
