Abra lawmaker hit by Covid again

Abra lawmaker Joseph Sto Niño Bernos appealed to his provincemates and supporters to include him and others in their prayers after he again tested positive of COVID-19.

Bernos announced through social media of his second affliction with the virus after that he was first infected on March 2021.

He said he was fully vaccinated and already got his booster shot.

Bernos, who had arrived from the United States a week ago, claimed he is suffering from mild symptoms.

He is now on home quarantine and isolated from the rest of his family.

He said he thankful that his family members tested negative of Covid 19.

“Let us continue to observe health protocols and get vaccinated when available,” the lawmaker appealed.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Government of Abra reported that one of the five individuals infected as of January 11, 2022 had died.
