Roman Abalos, an employee from the Provincial Housing Office of Pangasinan, has finally secured a permanent position in government service after 31 years of dedicated work.

This milestone came under the administration of Governor Ramon V. Guico III.

Abalos began his career in 1993 as a liaison officer. Over the decades, he slowly rose through the ranks.

He was recently appointed as an Administrative Assistant – Computer Operator I, a recognition of his long-standing commitment to public service.

He is among the hundreds of provincial government employees acknowledged for their loyalty and service.

Reflecting on his journey, Abalos shared how he started at a young age and patiently worked his way up.

“After 31 years as a casual employee, I started as a liaison officer and eventually became a computer operator,” he said.

Abalos expressed his gratitude to Governor Guico for entrusting him with the permanent role. “I promise to be a good employee and continue serving Pangasinan. Thank you, Governor Ramon V. Guico III, for giving me this opportunity,” he added.

Provincial officials emphasized that the move is part of the governor’s mission to recognize the dedication of long-serving government workers.

Reforms continue within the provincial government to improve service delivery and ensure employees receive the benefits they deserve.
