You don’t have to wait for the Amihan season to feel like it’s Christmas.
This Christmas village in the City of Pines doesn’t just bring Christmas vibes; it also transports you to an Alpine holiday experience like the Alps in Switzerland.
This is the current attraction of a 5-star mountain resort at their annual Christmas village.
As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by a Tunnel of Lights with blue and white colors…
Visitors can’t help but take pictures…
As they say, “Do it for the Gram.”
The carousel is also a hit among children…
There’s also a ball pit that kids can enjoy.
And of course, the iconic artificial snowfall can’t be missed.
“It’s fun,” said Samelia, a tourist.
“I’d say it’s still the best destination this time of the year because it’s a matter of tradition for most,” said Anthony De Leon, General Manager of Baguio Country Club.
Other attractions include the polar bear, snowman, and nativity scene…
Unlimited photos with Santa and his friends are also available.
“We wanted to experience the cold and of course, the newly opened Christmas village, and we also wanted to experience that,” said Melissa Ayala, a tourist.
“I haven’t experienced touching snow yet, so I’ll settle for this fake one. I just really want to try it,” Kristela Ayala, a tourist, mentioned.
Charmaigne, who visited from Japan, felt the Pinoy Christmas spirit…
“You feel Christmas more here because in Japan, they’re always working. You enjoy it more here in the Philippines,” said Charmaigne Lagman, a tourist, mentioned.
Alpine Holidays are in full swing in Baguio City, coinciding with the onset of the Amihan season.
Despite the bright colors, there’s still room for prayer, and for dreams to come true this Christmas.
The Christmas village is open to the public from 10 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and from 10 AM to 11 PM on weekends.
Tickets are priced at 170 pesos for adults and 120 pesos for children ages 4-12 and senior citizens.
