The Province of Pangasinan came alive with music and festivity as the Asinan Music and Arts Festival 2025 unfolded across various towns and cities as part of the annual Pista’y Dayat celebration.
According to Governor Ramon V. Guico III, the provincial government aimed to bring the celebration closer to the people.
“We thought it would be better to bring the Asinan Music and Arts Festival to different districts. Our province is so vast—we have six districts—and many residents from the western and eastern areas can’t always attend or feel the Pista’y Dayat,” the governor said.
The festival opened in Umingan, followed by events in Malasiqui, Bani, Urdaneta City, and ended with a grand finale in Lingayen.
Each venue featured performances by well-known bands and artists, attracting thousands of attendees who danced and sang along throughout the nights of celebration.
In Lingayen, the joy peaked as the crowd sang popular songs together.
“We’re really thankful there’s a concert like this for Pista’y Dayat,” said resident Benedict Bautista. “We got to bond with our classmates. It even turned into a mini reunion for friends from different places.”
Applause and cheers filled the final venue, especially as a colorful fireworks display marked the end of the program.
The event was made possible with the support of First Spouses League of Pangasinan Chairperson Maan Tuazon-Guico and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan led by Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino.
