Baguio City residents and visitors alike have to put on thick clothes and cover themselves with warm blankets as the temperature in the city drops.

And state weather authorities forecast even colder days ahead.

At 5:00 AM of December 4, 2021, Philippine Athmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) logged the city’s temperature as low as 11.8 degrees celsius, the lowest so far this month of December 2021.

The forecast hottest temperature mid day will be at 23 to 24 degrees and will again drop in the later part of the afternoon and even much lower in the evening.

The temperature at night in the city is expected to be at 13 degrees.

On Sunday, the temperature is forecast to be at 12 degrees.

Last Friday, temperature was 12 degrees.

From the late part of every year towards January to February of the following year, Baguio City and Benguet temperature normally drops.

The coldest temperature of Baguio recorded is at 6.3 degrees celsius on January 8, 1961.
