Have you ever wanted to experience Bali, Indonesia, without leaving the country?

A campsite in La Trinidad, Benguet, offers just that with its Bali-inspired huts, making it a popular summer destination.

As the summer heat intensifies, many travelers plan their getaways to tropical destinations like Bali.

However, for those on a budget, a local alternative offers the same serene atmosphere.

Nestled in the Japanese Trail in Barangay Wangal, La Trinidad, this campsite features traditional Bali-style huts surrounded by nature.

According to its owner, Kennerly Pitochelli, the idea was inspired by his travels and love for nature.

“Since the campsite is in the mountains, we wanted to create a place where guests could experience nature in a peaceful and aesthetically pleasing setting,” Pitochelli shared.

Established during the pandemic, the campsite has since gained popularity among both tourists and locals.

“The place is peaceful and not too crowded, making it perfect for relaxation,” said one visitor, Reinna Claton.

A resident, Ruzzle Feliciano, also praised the campsite, calling it a “budget-friendly escape” with a tranquil ambiance.

Just a 30-minute drive from La Trinidad’s town center, the site is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Visitors can also book an overnight stay for a more immersive experience.
