BENGUET GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE, TOURS REMOTE BARANGAYS

BY: VANESSA BUGTONG

As the campaign period for local candidates continues, gubernatorial candidate George Mendoza Punasen has been visiting remote barangays in Benguet to present his platforms and assess the needs of local communities.

In the remaining 27 days of the campaign, Punasen continues his visits to the various remote barangays in each town across Benguet.

Last week, he visited seven barangays, including Sitio Shekdan in Barangay Daclan, Bokod, and others in Bakun, Itogon, and Tublay.

Punasen’s campaign focuses not only on his platforms but also on understanding the challenges faced by each barangay to provide solutions, regardless of whether he wins the governorship.

“The mere presence of someone coming to these places is already a big help to them. It shows that you care about their needs,” Punasen shared during his visit.
