BUS, OVERTURNS AFTER LOSING CONTROL; 25 PASSENGERS, INJURED

The woman could not stop crying along the Malasiqui-Villasis Road in Barangay Unzad, Villasis, Pangasinan.

The passenger bus she was riding overturned at around 7 PM on February 11.

Some passengers were trapped inside the bus.

Because of this, the police broke the windshield of the bus to help the passengers escape and receive first aid.

According to the investigation by Villasis PNP, the bus driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The bus was traveling from Alaminos City, Pangasinan, to Cubao and was driven by 35-year-old Ryan Oliver Perez.

Some witnesses claimed that the bus was speeding.

The roadside barriers were also damaged in the accident.

Twenty-two passengers, two conductors, and the driver were taken to the hospital, but they were later discharged.

The police and passengers agreed to settle the matter.

The overturned bus was immediately removed after the incident.
