Peace in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in the West Philippine Sea, remains a significant concern.
Discussions and resolutions through peaceful means are seen as crucial.
The Philippines’ peace initiatives were among the key aspects recognized by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet during his bilateral meeting in Malacañang on February 11.
He also acknowledged the contributions of Filipinos to socio-economic progress.
Prime Minister Hun Manet also highlighted the long-standing diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Cambodia, which began in 1972.
He expressed optimism that his first visit to the Philippines would further solidify the two nations’ partnership in advancing peace efforts.
