COLOR FUN RUN, HELD IN PUGO FOR TINUNGBO FESTIVAL

The town of Pugo, La Union, welcomed the new year with vibrant colors and excitement.

On January 3, the Tinungbo Color Fun Run was held once again.

As early as 4 in the morning, participants gathered at Maoasoas Norte to register and claim their race kits.

By 5 in the morning, the colorful fun run officially began.

During the run, participants were showered, thrown at, and dusted with vibrant powders, turning the roads and participants into a burst of rainbow colors.

The fun run, exclusively organized for Pugo residents, turned into a large community reunion.

After the run, participants enjoyed Zumba exercises and free meals.

The smiles on the faces of the participants revealed how much they enjoyed the event.

The Tinungbo Color Fun Run is part of the larger Tinungbo Festival, which showcases the rich culture and traditions of Pugo, La Union.

The festival celebrates the traditional cooking method of using bamboo, reflecting the resourcefulness and eco-friendly practices of the locals.
