Thousands of Civilian Volunteer Organization (CVO) members from Pangasinan’s 5th and 6th districts received financial grants on January 29.

These were personally delivered by Governor Ramon V. Guico III and Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino.

But this wasn’t just about distributing financial aid, the CVO members were also registered under the PhilHealth Konsulta Plus GuiConsulta Program, a step aimed at ensuring they have access to medical services and treatment.

According to Governor Guico, this annual program is proof of their recognition of the tireless service of CVOs, who assist the government in maintaining peace, order, and safety in their communities.

Armed with brooms and garbage bags, Lingayen Capitol employees swept the Baywalk as part of an eco-friendly activity.

This was during their coastal cleanup drive held on January 30.

It was led by the General Services Office (GSO) as part of Governor Ramon V. Guico III’s advocacy for Zero Waste Month.

They ensured no trash was left behind that could harm the environment or the livelihood of local fishermen.

According to the GSO, this activity is conducted every Thursday to maintain cleanliness along the Baywalk.
