Ma. Teresita Viste and Kenneth Seruno on Tuesday of Abra National High School received their bronze medals and certificates from Abra Schools Division Superintendent Benilda Daytaca for placing third in the symposium category of the annual competition hosted by Australia.
The medals recently just arrived from Australia and Daytaca gave same to the winning students.
The duo presented an automated solar-powered disinfection devices with mist mechanism, (ultraviolet) UV lamps and live broadcast system that has earned the nod of the judges during the online presentation in November 13 of last year.
Viste and Seruno and four other members of the Abra NHS Robotics team led by coach Jephunneh Gasmen are now preparing for the World Robot Games that will be held, virtually, on March 25-28.
