The provincial capitol grounds of La Union in San Fernando City lit up on December 11.
This was for the lighting of the enchanted Christmas decorations offered by the provincial government to Elyucanos this holiday season.
Wherever you look, your eyes will feast on the fairytale-like Christmas lights.
Residents and visitors took endless selfies with the lights, while others marveled at the artificial snow brought by the snow machine.
The display includes a Tunnel of Fairies and a magical carriage reminiscent of Cinderella’s.
Highlights of the decorations include the over 30-foot enchanted-inspired giant Christmas tree and 4,000 bougainvillea lanterns, the official flower of the province.
And since Christmas is the season of giving, the provincial government, led by Governor Raphaelle “Rafy” Veronica Ortega-David, distributed Christmas gifts to 400 children in the province.
According to the provincial government, while the celebration may be simple, what’s most important is to show love and generosity, the true spirit of Christmas.
Visiting the decorations is free, open from 6:00 PM to midnight, and will last until the first week of January 2025.
