By 2 in the afternoon yesterday, October 1, no one had filed their candidacy at the Provincial Office of the COMELEC Benguet during the first day of filing.

But at around 2:30 in the afternoon, Alexander Fianza, currently a Board Member of District 1 in Benguet, the first candidate submitted his Certificate of Candidacy (COC).

This is his third time running for the same position.

Although he has party mates, he preferred to file early to avoid the rush of candidates in the following days.

They reminded all those filing their COCs to complete the requirements before submitting them.
