FINANCIAL AID, DELIVERED BY GEORGE PUNASEN TO FIRE VICTIMS IN CAMP 4, TUBA, BENGUET

BY: RHEN DE GUZMAN

Earnest prayers, that’s what George Punasen’s group brought to the families who lost their homes to the fire in Camp 4, Tuba, Benguet.

This is something Nanay Rebecca, one of the victims, desperately needed.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she recounted how their days have been after the fire.

Nanay Rebecca and her family were unable to save anything from their burning home.

Similarly, Tatay Antonio’s family only managed to escape with their lives.

Just hours after the fire, George Punasen’s group delivered immediate aid.

A week later, on January 8, George returned to provide financial assistance.

This aid is a big help for the victims as they continue to struggle to recover.

While the New Year started painfully for the affected residents, George hopes they can recover and rebuild their lives for a better future.
