FINANCIAL GRANT, DISTRIBUTED TO 1,200 SCHOLARS IN PANGASINAN

One of Governor Ramon V. Guico III’s goals is to provide quality education for Pangasinenses.

He also aims to increase the number of scholars in the province.

As part of this effort, over 1,200 scholars from nine campuses of Pangasinan State University (PSU) each received a financial grant of PHP 10,000.

This initiative is part of the financial grant program led by Governor Ramon V. Guico III and Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino.

“My message to you is to strive, dream big, trust God, and honor your parents. This is what I want for the youth, and we’re doing our best to support you,” said Governor Ramon V. Guico III.

“Our support for the youth is one of the most important commitments of our governor to the province. We expect that you won’t just achieve for yourselves but also give back to the province and its people in your own little ways,” Vice Governor Mark Ronald DG. Lambino added.

This way, opportunities for a brighter future can be given to the youth.

Governor Guico emphasized his continued support for the youth of Pangasinan.

“We believe that we need to help the youth complete their education because education is the great equalizer. Study hard, and know that your governor and the province are proud of you,” Governor Guico stated.

The scholars expressed their gratitude for the financial support.

“This scholarship program helped me throughout my four years in college. It covered my uniform, books, and allowance. To Governor Ramon V. Guico III, we thank you so much for this opportunity and the scholarship program,” said Cristine Salinas, recipient of financial grant from PSU Lingayen Campus.

“This financial support will help us with academic requirements and other needs. We’re very thankful for this, and I hope more programs like this will continue under Governor Ramon V. Guico III’s leadership,” said Rommel Espora, also a recipient of financial grant from PSU Urdaneta City Campus.
