In the town of Bantay, the water level in the Abra river has dropped after reaching critical levels yesterday, July 25.
Flooding has also subsided in some barangays, and some evacuated residents have returned home.
“We have evacuees, Ma’am, but the team is still consolidating with the MSWDO of Bantay. Partially, we have around 20 individuals,” says Ervy Joie Arce of MDRRMO Bantay.

In Narvacan, the raging river swallowed this house in Barangay San Pedro.
Barangay Naguneg remains isolated.
The road connecting to the Barangay was destroyed by the overflowing river.
