At dawn, the Raffy Tulfo in Action Northern Luzon team, led by George Mendoza Punasen, set out once again to deliver aid.
After a three-hour journey, they reached Barangay Palina in Kibungan, Benguet.
There, they met Tatay Antonio.
He is well-known in the area for his age—112 years old.
Despite his longevity, he can no longer see, has difficulty walking, and has impaired hearing.
He relies solely on his 68-year-old son, Tatay Crecentio.
To help ease their lives even just a little, the Raffy Tulfo in Action Northern Luzon team, led by George Mendoza Punasen, provided assistance.
They brought food, tissue, and other essentials.
In addition to these, they also brought cement, sand, and wood.
These materials will be used to repair the father and son’s bathroom.
They immediately started the bathroom repair under George Punasen’s leadership.
With the improvements, it will now be easier for the elderly man to use the bathroom, thanks to the installed handrails.
At the same time, they also assisted Tatay Antonio with bathing and changing his clothes.
This act of generosity by George Mendoza Punasen was part of his 45th birthday celebration yesterday, February 20.
Tatay Antonio and Crecentio expressed their gratitude for the help provided by George Punasen and his team.
According to them, this is just one of the ways George Mendoza Punasen continues to serve his fellow Benguet residents.
