Four men, arrested during a drug den raid in Dagupan City

Agents from PDEA Region 1 wasted no time as they raided a house in Barangay 1, Dagupan City, around 7 PM on November 20, 2024.

Their target was a drug den in the area following a buy-bust operation.

They apprehended the 40-year-old alleged owner of the house, Armand R. Cayabyab,

Along with three others identified as Alvin Castro Melecio, Rowlenson Henoguin Claveria, and Aldrin Quibol Racadio.

Seized from them were 26 sachets of shabu weighing 18 grams and valued at over 122,400 pesos.

The suspects were brought to the PDEA detention facility in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, and face charges for violating Republic Act 9165.

Meanwhile, in Benguet’s mountainous areas, police and PDEA conducted joint operations to raid three marijuana plantations.

One of these was in Barangay Kayapa, Bakun, where 6,000 marijuana plants worth 1.2 million pesos were uprooted and burned.

Two more plantations were found in Barangay Badeo, Kibungan, Benguet.

Here, 3,500 marijuana plants and 2,000 seedlings valued at 750,000 pesos were discovered.

All these were uprooted and burned by authorities.

No cultivators were found in these plantations.
