A dream has come true for 700 young people in Pangasinan thanks to the free education and skills training provided by Pangasinan Polytechnic College.
Through this program, students can achieve not just a diploma but also secure employment opportunities.
One of the beneficiaries of PPC is Jannah, a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts program.
Under the Center for Lifelong Learning (PPC-CELL), students can also take TESDA-accredited courses like Electrical Installation and Maintenance NCII.
Aside from free training, the provincial government also covers toolkits, allowances, uniforms, and assessment fees.
Currently, the seventh batch of trainees is undergoing free training.
According to PPC-CELL Director Maonika Labaupa, it’s important to provide opportunities for young people who want to pursue skill-based training and open doors to employment.
One of the program’s graduates is Cesar, an EIM NCII graduate, who now works at the provincial capitol.
This proves that PPC-CELL offers not just education but also ensures job opportunities await Pangasinenses.
