At 3 AM, the team led by George Mendoza Punasen departed from their headquarters in La Trinidad, Benguet.

Their destination: remote barangays in Kibungan, Benguet.

Steep, narrow, rocky, and dusty roads didn’t stop them from delivering free medical services, medicines, and even free haircuts.

By nightfall, the team completed their service in one barangay and rested briefly before heading to Barangay Palina at dawn.

Despite the cold and drizzle, 65-year-old Arsenio didn’t miss the opportunity for a free check-up.

He had wanted to consult about his joint pain since July last year but had to rely on herbal medicine due to the high cost and distance of medical services.

Other elderly residents, like 66-year-old Lina, shared similar struggles.

Grateful for the free services, they expressed their thanks to the team for bringing help directly to their community.

Aside from medical services, the team also distributed rice, bread, and clothes to senior citizens.

The group promises to continue their efforts to serve Benguet residents in need.
