The provincial government of Pangasinan continues to provide free medical services to residents, especially in remote areas, through the Konsulta Plus Guiconsulta program.
Among the beneficiaries is 74-year-old Violeta Gumapos from Barangay Libsong West, Lingayen. Despite her age, she admitted that she rarely consults a doctor due to financial constraints.
“Sometimes, I’m afraid to have a check-up because I don’t want to know if I have an illness,” she said.
Thanks to the program, she was able to receive a free medical consultation along with other residents, particularly senior citizens who need immediate healthcare. She expressed her gratitude to Governor Ramon V. Guico III for bringing quality healthcare services to Pangasinan.
“I’m happy with the free consultation provided by the governor because I know that many in our area are sick, especially senior citizens. I’m thankful to him for his care and concern for his constituents,” she added.
Aside from check-ups, the program also provides free medicines, vitamins, maintenance drugs, and other medical services to ensure that patients receive proper treatment and guidance for their health concerns.
Through Konsulta Plus Guiconsulta, the provincial government aims to bring medical services closer to every corner of Pangasinan, particularly in communities with limited access to healthcare facilities.
Gumapos hopes that the governor will continue his leadership and commitment to the welfare of Pangasinenses.
“I hope he remains our governor because he always listens to our needs. He is our hope,” she said.
Konsulta Plus Guiconsulta stands as proof of the provincial government’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of every Pangasinense.
