GOV. GUICO, BRINGS GIFTS TO FARMERS IN CALASIAO

BY: VALERIE ANN DISMAYA

Instead of holding a grand celebration for his birthday, Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III chose to mark the occasion by giving back to farmers in Calasiao.

Led by the Provincial Governor’s Office, food packs and fruit-bearing tree seedlings were distributed to local farmers. The initiative also included warm and nutritious meals from “Guicosina on Wheels.”

The outreach program was joined by employees of the Provincial Governor’s Office, Provincial Administrator Melicio Patague II, and other provincial officials, all showing their support for the governor’s advocacy.

Despite the simplicity of the event, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the assistance.

“What they are doing is great. Thank you to the governor for giving us even a little help,” said Myrna de Guzman, one of the beneficiaries.

This initiative reflects Governor Guico’s commitment to advancing the welfare of the agricultural sector, which he considers a vital part of Pangasinan’s economy.

For the beneficiaries, this was more than just a simple gift—it was an inspiration and a reminder of the provincial government’s continued concern for every Pangasinense.
