GOVERNMENT, DELIVERS 70-MILLION PESO AID TO TYPHOON VICTIMS IN ILOCOS NORTE

In addition to the provinces of Cagayan and Apayao, Ilocos Norte was also hit by Typhoon Marce.

After visiting Cagayan, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. also inspected the damage on Sunday, November 10.

At the same time, he delivered aid at the Pagudpud Cultural and Sports Complex.

In addition to food packs, the President provided 50 million pesos in financial aid from the Office of the President to Ilocos Norte Vice Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos.

He also distributed livelihood aid to disadvantaged and displaced workers under the TUPAD Program of the Department of Labor and Employment, amounting to 20 million pesos, benefiting over 3,800 affected residents.

In total, over 70 million pesos in livelihood and financial aid were given to the provincial government of Ilocos Norte.
