GUICO-LAMBINO TANDEM, WINS IN PANGASINAN; SEVERAL CANDIDATES, PROCLAIMED

The Guico-Lambino alliance secured victory in Pangasinan as Governor Ramon V. Guico III and Vice Governor Mark Lambino were proclaimed winners after receiving 875,030 and 1,022,160 votes, respectively.

Governor Guico said his second term will continue to focus on education, health, infrastructure, tourism, and other key programs.

“Thank you very much for your trust. For my second term as governor, like I’ve said before, education, health, infrastructure, tourism, these will remain our focus. We’ll keep working on lighting projects and fixing our bridges,” he said.

In the congressional race, re-electionist Mark Cojuangco retained his seat in the 2nd District with 227,942 votes against incumbent Lingayen Mayor Pol Bataoil, who garnered 67,690 votes.

“I’m truly grateful for the overwhelming trust you’ve given me. I’m nervous because the responsibility is great, to improve Pangasinan’s second district. Thank you for your support,” said Cojuangco.

First District Representative-elect Arthur Celeste, who ran unopposed, received 184,695 votes.

He expressed his gratitude and promised to continue what he started in his first term.

“Thank you very much for the trust. Expect another three years of public service. We’ll continue our programs in the district,” said Celeste.

Also proclaimed were 2nd District Provincial Board Members Heidee Pacheco, who earned 178,587 votes, and Philip Theodore Cruz, now on his second term. In the 3rd District, Maria Rachel Arenas was re-elected with 328,672 votes.
