On November 19, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Pugo Children’s Park in Pugo, La Union was held.
The park is envisioned as a place where Pugo’s children can play freely, learn, and dream big.
In less than a month, the Pugo Children’s Park has become a reality.
Equipped with monkey bars, seesaws, swings, and more, children can now run around freely and play to their hearts’ content.
Parents like Florenda and Rose expressed their gratitude for the park, as it saves them from traveling to other towns for their children to play.
“It’s a big help, and we’re very thankful. It brings joy to the kids,” said Florenda Damian, a parent.
“It’s fun, and it’s nice to have a place where kids can go,” said Rose Langguyan, a parent.
Darren Damian, a child playing in the park, beamed with excitement.
According to Mayor Kurt Walter Martin of Pugo, La Union, the children’s park symbolizes the LGU’s love and support for its youth.
“I, too, am delighted to see this happen in our town. It’s great to see everyone come together here,” said Mayor Kurt Walter Martin.
The Pugo LGU hopes this simple children’s park will help instill in children the value of friendship and unity.
