Bibingka, leche flan, and more.
These are just some of the treats people line up for during Simbang Gabi or Noche Buena feasts.
But what if your favorite desserts are turned into doughnuts?
This is the exciting concept offered by a café in Baguio City.
Their flavors are inspired by Filipino delicacies and street food, like bibingka, chocnut, and latik.
“The doughnuts are made from sticky rice, ground, kneaded, fried, and customized with unique flavors,” said Chiara Flores, Owner, G and C Café.
With Christmas just around the corner, we shared this blessing with our fellow RNG members.
Presenting the latik and ensaymada flavors.
Kids also love these festive treats.
“For only 60 to 70 pesos each or 350 pesos for six flavors, you can enjoy these kakanin doughnuts,” Flores added.
