La Trinidad, Benguet’s Strawberry Festival is in Full Swing!

March 4 marks the commencement of La Trinidad’s much-anticipated Strawberry Festival, a vibrant celebration of the Province of Benguet’s renowned fruit.

The festivities, set to conclude on March 26, promise an array of exciting activities for locals and tourists alike.

Organized by the Local Government Unit (LGU) and the community, the festival features a diverse lineup of events. These include a job fair, a pageant, various contests, concerts, and more, all taking place across La Trinidad.

The festival’s centerpiece will be the main program from March 15 to 17, showcasing elaborate parades reminiscent of the famed Panagbenga Festival. The highlight of March 17 will be the Strawberry Cake Festival, a delicious display of culinary creativity using the beloved fruit.

One of the festival’s main attractions is Strawberry Lane, open from March 4 to 31 on the Municipal Grounds. Here, visitors can explore a cornucopia of strawberry-themed products, by-products, and goods, highlighting the versatility and popularity of the fruit.

The festival not only celebrates the strawberry but also showcases the culture and heritage of La Trinidad. It serves as a testament to the community’s unity and resilience, making it a must-visit event for anyone looking to experience the vibrant spirit of La Trinidad.
