Law enforcers nab drug vendor inside Benguet campus

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Law enforcement agents Monday nabbed a tattoo artist who sells drugs on the side inside the Benguet State University (BSU) compound here.

Agents from the the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Benguet, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Benguet and the Police Provincial Office – Benguet conducted a drug buy bust operation in the BSU compound.

This resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Christian Gray Cuña aka “Ischan”, single, a native of Calamba, Laguna and resident at Central Balilihere.

Cuña, who was listed as Street Level Individual (SLI), sold allegedly one sealed transparent plastic sachet to a poseur-buyer. The plastic sachet contained suspected “shabu” with an estimated total weight of 2.07 grams which has an estimated worth of P14,076.00.

The agents used a genuine 1,000 peso bill and nine pieces 1,000 peso boodle money were used during the buy-bust operation.

Cops were also to confiscate from the possession of the suspect after the arrest is a mobile phone used for his transactions.
