It’s the year of the Ox which is the second sign in the Chinese horoscope. The Ox is associated with Water which symbolizes strength, reliability, and diligence. To help celebrate this Chinese New Year, bring luck on your side with various trinkets and food items to your family at the bazaar.

Visitors can also find several traditional foods served during Chinese New Year, such as Tikoy, mooncake, and hopia. Tikoy is an ideal gift to give and have for dinner with families. This is thought to bring luck because of its sticky glutinous rice consistency which could imply a strong family bond. For mooncakes and hopia, they symbolize good fortune because of their round shape and sweetness.

Be sure to catch these lucky meals as these are available in Polland and Mei-Hwa booths.
