It looks like a miniature café, but, this isn’t just for display but a Central Processing Unit (CPU) used to power a computer.
This was created by Sam from Dagupan City.
“I’m also into figurines and things like this, it really suits this kind of setup. I’ll be displaying it in Taipei, the brand liked it, so that’s the plan,” said Sam Callanta, Founder of Samca Studios.
It took Sam two to three weeks to complete this artwork.
His creation was invited to be showcased at an exhibit by a computer brand in Taipei, Taiwan.
But before it’s taken to Taiwan, he previewed it in an exhibit in Baguio City.
Also featured in the exhibit is a photo booth that feels like a trip to the past.
While the camera used is modern, the shots have a vintage style.
Currently on display at Post Office Park on Session Road, Baguio City, are what’s known as ‘Igobots’ or Igorot-inspired robots.
One is a robot weaver, while the other is a postman.
These were created by Clinton Aniversario using broken typewriters, watches, chains, and other metal objects.
Due to its appeal, these pieces will now be permanently displayed at the park.
