MSME owners join Go Negosyo: 3M on Wheels in Baguio City

BAGUIO CITY – Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owners attend the 3M on Wheels mentorship program by Go Negosyo to seek advice and expertise from various business mentors nationwide at Mall Atrium SM City Baguio on March 6, 2024.

According to Romar Grace Alegre, a small business owner and a mentee at the said event, Go Negosyo’s mentorship program is a big opportunity for her as successful business owners throughout the country attended the program to share their knowledge and wisdom.

“Di ba sabi kanina na nagsimula sila sa maliit (na negosyo) tapos lumaki? So, madami akong matututunan, lalo na sa mga bad experiences nila kung paano nila naha-handle at lalo na po nagsisimula pa lang ako. At least kapag mangyare man po yun, ready na po ako, at saka alam ko na po kung paano i-handle based sa natutunan ko po sa kanila.”, she added.

[“Didn’t they say earlier that they started from a small business and then grew? So, I can learn a lot, especially from their bad experiences on how they handle it especially since I’m just starting out. At least when that happens, I’m ready, and then I’ll know how to handle it based on what I learned from them.”]

Scarlet Enterprise founder Alvarette Alvarado, also shared her insights on the benefits of the said mentorship, that apart from the wisdom and experience the attendees can gain from the mentors in the business field, the program is also like a therapy session, wherein they can have someone who can listen to the challenges and journeys they have been through.

Meanwhile, Go Negosyo founder Jose Ma. “Joey” Concepcion III stressed why the non-profit organization is still continuously helping businessmen across the country.

“I believe that our country can only move forward if we are able to help the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. So large corporations like ourselves… we are focused on helping. The economy cannot grow without us bringing them up.”

He also added that this is the move of Go Negosyo and that they will not stop until they help everyone out there.

3M on Wheels (Mentorship, Money, and Market), previously called Mentor Me on Wheels (MMOW), was launched in 2018 to extend a helping hand to Filipinos turning to entrepreneurship to raise themselves out of poverty.

It is a free nationwide mentorship initiative designed to serve as a quick-access mentoring platform that aims to foster entrepreneurs’ skill and capacity development through in-person mentorship experiences across the country.
