Southeast Asian Games muay Thai veteran Lee Ariel Lampacan could become the newest ONE Championship fighter.
During the ONE Warriors Series Philippines here Thursday, Lampacan helped Team Gravity of Geje Eustaquio beat Team Passion of ONE strawweight champion Joshua Pacio.
“It’s great to have an Ifugao with us,” said one of the Team Gravity after beating the Pacio coached men in blue in the dodgeball-like competition where a sepak takraw ball was used.
Lampacan was the only Cordilleran present during the Baguio athletic bowl event where it was cleared to give way to the ONE tryouts.
He was also one of the three warriors called from Team Gravity, reportedly, to make it to the final run for a slot in the regular ONE fighting competitions.
Lampacan won a silver medal in the 2019 SEAG held in Manila and a bronze in the last edition in May in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Team Lakay top man Mark Sangiao was also present during the event which has been taped for showing in the future. Pigeon Lobien
