Nephew kills own uncle in Benguet

A manhunt was launched against a man who hacked to death his uncle at around 4:00 PM Monday at Dang-ay, Taloy Norte,Tuba, Benguet.

The victim was identified as Bonifacio Milo Pacio, 49 , married, farmer and currently residing at Sitio Dang-ay, Taloy Norte, while the suspect is Henry Milo or “Tino”, a resident of Sitio Bakayao, also in Taloy Norte, Tuba. The suspect is the nephew of the victim.

Tuba police said Pacio who was with friends were watching a television show in front of the store in the area. The suspect arrived and suddenly hacked his uncle three times until he fell on the floor.

The suspect then fled on foot towards Pugo, La Union after the crime.

The victim sustained hacked wounds on the upper part of his body, particularly at the right-side neck.
