NEW DIALYSIS CENTER IN ALAMINOS CITY, PROVIDES FREE TREATMENT FOR PANGASINAN RESIDENTS

Dialysis treatment is a lifeline for many Filipinos suffering from kidney disease, but the high cost and limited availability of facilities make access difficult.

Thanks to the efforts of the Pangasinan provincial government, dialysis patients now have a more accessible and affordable treatment option.

For Arnel Nieto, a dialysis patient from Pangasinan, the opening of the new Western Pangasinan District Hospital Dialysis Center is nothing short of a blessing.

Due to complications from diabetes, he requires regular dialysis sessions—an expensive medical necessity.

“I’ve been undergoing free treatment for two years now. Without this, we would have had to sell all our belongings just to survive,” Nieto shared.

Under the leadership of Governor Ramon V. Guico III, the provincial government has prioritized providing quality healthcare services to all residents, regardless of their financial capacity.

With the establishment of the new dialysis center, patients like Nieto no longer need to travel far or spend large sums on treatment.

“Now, treatment is completely free. It’s a huge help for people like me who have no other source of income. I’m truly grateful to Governor Guico for his support of this program,” Nieto said.

Aside from the dialysis center, the provincial government continues to enhance other healthcare programs to ensure that all Pangasinenses have access to proper medical care.

By expanding healthcare services, the local government hopes to provide more affordable and accessible treatments, easing the burden on patients and their families.
