Improving the healthcare system and services is one of the priorities of the administration of Pangasinan Governor Ramon V. Guico III.
This is why they continue to add medical equipment and renovate facilities in the fourteen provincial hospitals in the province.
“One of our campaign promises is healthcare, which is why we are focused on improving our hospitals and the public health program and system of Pangasinan. We will be focusing much of our efforts regarding healthcare on two branches: first, the public health and the curative health programs, which are the hospital system, and of course, our partnership with the RHUs through the various LGUs of the province,” said Governor Ramon V. Guico III.
This is proof of his fulfillment of the dream of a Hemodialysis Center at the Western Pangasinan District Hospital.
On October 14, they showcased the first-ever fifteen-seater Hemodialysis Center of the Western Pangasinan District Hospital.
Also highlighted was the new Radiology Building of the said hospital.
The new 32-slice CT scan machine, mobile, and stationary X-ray machines were also blessed.
“Thanks to our wise and visionary Governor Monmon Guico III, who initiated this effort to acquire these pieces of equipment, a symbol of his dedication to providing quality healthcare to our fellow Pangasinenses. We are deeply grateful to you, Governor, that within a short period of your service in the province of Pangasinan, we have been given these modern facilities here at WPDH,” said Dr. Ma. Theresa Sanchez, Chief of Hospital at Western Pangasinan District Hospital.
According to the hospital administration, through this equipment, they can serve and provide high-quality medical services to the people of Pangasinan and nearby provinces.
Their fellow citizens will no longer need to travel far just to receive the proper services.
