A new hotel in Baguio City is set to open this holiday season, offering not just comfort but also a glimpse into the rich culture and artistry of the Cordilleras.
Located near the iconic Wright Park, the hotel was built as a modern sanctuary for families and travelers seeking a relaxing getaway in the City of Pines.
But beyond luxury and convenience, every corner of the hotel tells a story, one of art, culture, and local talent.
“We grew up loving everything about Baguio,” said General Manager Rodolfo “Ompong” Palma II. “That’s why we decided to incorporate the things we found interesting here in our city as part of our own hotel.”
Inside, guests will find artworks created by local artists, paintings and pieces that capture the essence of Cordilleran life, giving each space a warm and authentic touch.
Palma added that the hotel also aims to support the local community. “It’s part of helping our society because this will serve as a venue for local artists and entrepreneurs to market their products,” he said.
For retail associate Jumert Langtiwan, the pieces displayed inside the hotel are unique creations made exclusively for the establishment. “The artworks here are special; some were crafted just for this place,” he shared.
Beyond art and decor, the hotel also offers its own line of freshly made pastries designed to match the cool Baguio weather.
“Our pastries are always served warm,” said Bistro staff Aaron. “We use heat pads to make sure guests enjoy them fresh and hot.”
As the holiday season approaches, the soon-to-open hotel invites visitors to experience a place where comfort meets culture, a destination where every stay becomes a masterpiece.
