While the provincial government continues to deliver healthcare services to Pangasinenses, the addition of new medical equipment and facilities also continues.
The goal is to offer faster and more efficient services to patients.
One of the beneficiaries of this is Umingan Community Hospital, which received a new ultrasound machine and an X-ray machine.
According to Dr. Sonny Edward Urbano, Chief of Hospital at Uminan Community Hospital, “Our hospital is one of the smallest in terms of land area and infrastructure. But Umingan Community Hospital is among those that received the largest support from Governor Monmon.”
The hospital’s new outpatient department was inaugurated and witnessed by Governor Ramon V. Guico III and Vice Governor Mark Ronald DG. Lambino.
“We in the hospital need to do our jobs well. I’ve served as your governor for 2 years and 4 months, and our hospital system has improved significantly. Thanks to all of you—chief of hospital and all employees. The governor cannot achieve all these improvements alone. It takes two to tango, right? And as they say, two heads are better than one,” said Governor Guico.
“Rest assured that the Guico administration’s support, which started in 2022, will continue until the end of Gov’s term in 2031,” Vice Governor Lambino promised.
Construction of a new state-of-the-art facility at Umingan Community Hospital in Barangay Gonzalez is ongoing.
The provincial government also supports seminars and training for staff at the fourteen provincial hospitals to educate them on using the new equipment.
