BREAKING NEWS!

Opening of the LRT Line 1 Cavite Extensional, brings convenience to commuters

From Cavite, Pau’s commute to school in Taft used to take over two hours.

But this journey will now be reduced with the opening of the LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension Phase 1.

This will also lower commuting costs.

“It’s easy and fast now; from Cavite, it’s only 30 minutes, and I’m no longer late for school,” said Pau.

The LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension includes five new stations: Redemptorist-Aseana Station, MIA Road Station, Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) Station, Ninoy Aquino Avenue Station, and Dr. Santos Station.

The first train departure from LRT 1 Cavite Extension was led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“I encourage all commuters to try it; it’s very convenient compared to the traffic we experience every day, PBBM mentioned.

The 26-kilometer extension is expected to serve over 80,000 passengers.

Along with this, the president assured that modernization and improvements to trains in the country will continue.

“Our journey towards a more seamless and modernized public transportation system does not end here. We are committed to building station after station, reaching as far and as fast as our people’s needs dictate,” PBBM added.

The LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension is the third rail transport modernization project to be completed, after the MRT-7 and PNR Clark Phase 1.
