The Provincial Government of Pangasinan brought joy to daycare students from five Child Development Care Centers in Urdaneta City.
They distributed toys, including puzzles and art books, to more than 300 daycare students.
“As mothers, we should maintain balance and not pressure ourselves. My child, for instance, is very shy, the opposite of me, but that’s okay. What’s important is that our children enjoy,” Chinky Tababa, Board Member, 5th District of Pangasinan.
These children are among the focus of the First Spouses League of Pangasinan, led by Chairperson Maan Tuazon-Guico, to prepare them for formal education at the elementary level.
Aside from this, a short storytelling session was conducted by the First Lady herself.
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office also organized a feeding program.
In addition to the children, teachers also received additional learning aids to assist in their teaching.
“Each center will receive materials that our children can use, and of course, as a token of gratitude, a box for our hardworking teachers,” said Maan Tuazon-Guico, Chairperson, First Spouses League of Pangasinan.
The teachers expressed their gratitude for the resources they received.
“This is a big help because some kids cannot afford these materials. This is great for them as it saves them from spending,” said Miriam Esprecion, Teacher.
